Undip DSI Study Program Implements Autofeeder for Freshwater Fish Cultivation SEMARANG- Diponegoro University (UNDIP) Information Systems Doctoral Study Program (DSI)

SEMARANG- The Information Systems Doctoral Study Program (DSI) at Diponegoro University (UNDIP) Semarang successfully carried out community service activities with the theme Autofeeder Implementation for Freshwater Fish Cultivation in UNDIP Special Purpose Forest Areas (KHDTK) on Saturday, July 27 2024.
KHDTK UNDIP is located in Mluweh Village, Kaligawe, Susukan, East Ungaran, Semarang Regency and was attended by various parties from the village community as well as members of the community service team.
KHDTK, represented by Mr. Rizki Setiawan, S.H. as the UNDIP KHDTK Administration supervisor appreciates and expresses his gratitude to the DSI Study Program for the autofeeder implementation event for freshwater fish cultivation.
“We hope that similar activities can continue in the agricultural sector, namely automatic watering,” said Rizki Setiawan, S.H.
Secretary of the UNDIP DSI Study Program who is also the team leader, Prof. Dr. Ir. R. Rizal Isnanto., ST., MM., MT., IPU Asean Eng, in his speech said that this community service activity is one of the Tri Dharma activities of higher education apart from education and research.
“We hope that this Autofeeder with digital timer technology for cultivating freshwater fish can be useful for the community,” said Prof. Dr. Ir. R. Rizal Isnanto.
“The benefit and use of autofeeder technology in fish cultivation is that it can increase the efficiency of feeding and fish cultivation results in KHDTK Mluweh Village,” he added.
This activity is part of the commitment of the UNDIP Information Systems Doctoral Study Program to contribute to the development of local communities through the application of the latest technology.
The Undip Information Systems Doctoral Study Program hopes that this activity can have a positive impact on the people of Mluweh Village, Kaligawe, Susukan, East Ungaran, and strengthen relations between academics and the community.

The participants were introduced directly to how to use the autofeeder followed by a question and answer discussion session. The event closed with a group photo session and the handover of the autofeeder device from the DSI Study Program to KHDTK UNDIP.
