Semarang: Diponegoro University (Undip) Information Systems Doctoral Study Program (DSI) held a gathering at Kampung Surga Bandungan, Saturday (15/2/2025). The activity, which was attended by students from class 1 to class 10, was opened by the Deputy Dean for Resources and Innovation at the Undip Postgraduate School, Dwi Cahyo Utomo, S.E., M.A., Ph.D. Present on this occasion was the Head of the Undip DSI Study Program, Prof. Dr. Rahmat Gernowo, M.Si, and Study Program Secretary Prof. Dr. Ir. R. Rizal Isnanto, S.T., M.M., M.T., IPU, ASEAN.Eng. Apart from that, the Administrative Section Manager, Sidiq Muhammad Asnan, ST, MM. In his speech, Dwi Cahyo Utomo said that DSI students should always remember God so that they will be given ease and smoothness in carrying out their studies. Undip Postgraduate School is currently implementing the life long learning method.
“This means that we always study wherever, whenever and with whoever. Being an Undip Postgraduate School student means you have to be happy so you can graduate on time,” said Dwi Cahyo Utomo, P.hD. Meanwhile, Head of the Undip DSI Study Program, Prof. Dr. Rahmat Gernowo said that the aim of this gathering was to build friendship and friendship between students between generations. “This activity is a routine activity held to strengthen friendship between students from various classes and with administrators,” he said. “Apart from that, discussions were also held between students and administrators so that all matters related to academics could be resolved properly. “This is so that students can graduate quickly and precisely,” said Rahmat Gernowo. According to the Chairman of the DSI Student Association Bagus Satrio Waluyo Poetro, this activity was held by the DSI Student Association and supported by PT. Telkom Indonesia. He hopes that this gathering will enable all students from classes 1 to 10 to unite and share with each other and graduate on time. Damar Sasongko as Chair of the committee admitted that he was happy with this activity. It is hoped that this gathering will provide benefits for all DSI Undip students. In the future, gatherings like this can be held regularly.
